yeah nah, 8000 cubic metres of dirt sliding down is just nature telling us to leave the poor mountain alone. but nah, let's keep chucking money at it
Oh for goodness sake, I went for my morning walk there yesterday and half the track is closed AGAIN. When will they learn to build things properly? 🙄
mate, typical council BS. Spend millions and still can't stop a bit of rain moving dirt.
ffs, another slip. makes me wonder if the whole track is gonna slide into the sea one day
It's a bloody eyesore. They've been working on it for months and it's still a mess. Typical council inefficiency.
A bit harsh mate - the council is trying their best with limited budget.

rip anyone who was hoping for a nice sunset walk tonight. guess I'm staying in and watching netflix
Same. Was gonna surprise my flatmate with fish and chips on the beach but not if i have to detour through the suburbs to get to the other side
8000 cubic metres? that's a lot of dirt. hope no one was walking there when it happened
Sad to see the mountain in this state. Hopefully they can sort it out properly this time.
just what we needed, another delay. guess my morning jog route is changing for the next decade
They should just close the whole track and let it heal. We're so obsessed with using every inch of land, it's no wonder things keep falling apart.
hear! Let the mountain do its thing for once.
might be the best option at this point. That whole face looks unstable.
lol @ people who still think walking on that track is safe. seen the cracks? just askin for trouble
Exactly! I saw that too. Honestly some people have no sense.
nah, you're right. I walked past the barriers yesterday and saw some bloke ducking under them. Idiot.
