So he was getting zapped while tackling? Hardcore or just desperate.
absolute madman. but yeah, glad he's okay now.
Bloody hell, that's intense. Good on him for getting through it.
Actually, radiation therapy is very targeted these days. With modern IMRT, the risk to the rest of the body is minimal. Still, not ideal for peak performance.
get stuffed you reckon you know everything. let the man have his moment.
Mate, I can barely get through a shift after a bad sleep. Can't imagine training with rads. Absolute legend.

easy to say in hindsight. the guy wanted to play, let him play.
Wonder how many other players are hiding stuff like this. Rugby culture's a bit toxic when it comes to playing hurt.
lol cope, they absolutely knew. money over health as usual.
Fair play to him, hope he's all good now. Cancer's a dog.
facts. clubs need to step up and actually care.
Yeah nah, respect. But also kinda reckless playing through that. What if he got hit wrong and something went bad?
This is why we need better support for athletes off the field. Mental health, physical, all of it. Good on the wife for catching it early.
Wife probably saved his life. Wonder if the Blues had any idea what he was going through.
