oh great another warning from the 'experts'. like we didn't have enough to worry about already 🙄
scabies is no joke. had it in 2020 and it was absolute hell. treat it seriously ppl
what a load of shit. just wash your sheets and stop being grubby. problem solved.
nah mate it's not that simple. the mites can live in furniture for days. had to bin my couch
lol 'just wash your sheets' yeah good luck with that. tell that to my flatmate who kept getting reinfected
literally had to miss a whole week of uni because of scabies. the itching is insane. glad they're speaking up

exactly! and don't even get me started on the stigma. people look at you like you're dirty
bet it's because of all those budget cuts to public health. classic government doing nothing until it's a crisis
I work at a rest home and we've had three cases this month. staff need proper training on this stuff
facts. my GP literally shrugged when I went in. had to google treatment myself
maybe if doctors actually listened to patients instead of rushing through appointments...
100%. management just tells us to use more hand sanitiser smh
agricultural workers get this all the time from contaminated bedding in seasonal work accommodation. needs to be addressed at industry level.
why is the photo credit always AFP? can't we use a NZ stock image for once? bloody media
mate there's literally an NZ photo of the same mite. choose boring.
