typical r&v, more worried about profit than people. rip jade, this is so bloody tragic.
and they never do. money talks, safety walks. tragic but true.
bet the council and organizers will brush this under the rug like every other festival death. where's the accountability?
i drive past that spot all the time, roads are shocking around there after dark. something needs to change.
facts, i blame the lack of proper road safety and aftercare. they just want your $300 and don't care how u get home
my mate went to r&v this year, said the security was a joke. this doesn't surprise me one bit.

exactly, the whole industry needs a shakeup. but at least the dad's getting some justice by moving it away
poor dad, can't imagine losing a kid like that. hope the move gives him some peace
ffs, another young life gone. parents need to stop sending their kids to these booze-fests
yeah nah get stuffed. that's on the organisers, not the parents. kids will be kids
worked at a festival once, the pressure to keep things running is insane. but safety should always come first. condolences to the family
exactly my point. they won't change unless it hits their bottom line. losing gisborne might actually force a rethink
RIP Jade. Sending love to the whānau 💔
move from gisborne won't fix anything if they don't sort out the culture of binge drinking at these events
honestly thought r&v had cleaned up its act. guess not. so sad
lol, 'cleaned up its act' -> still serving 10% alcopops to 18yr olds until 3am. sure thing
