Yeah nah, record audiences but still can't guarantee survival? Sounds like classic corporate mismanagement to me. Bloody useless.
Exactly! The players deserve better. They're world class athletes.
if the numbers are up why can't they keep it going? typical nz sports admin dropping the ball again.
As someone who works in sports media, these viewership numbers are actually massive for a niche league. The issue is that TV deals don't pay what they used to. Streaming killed the ad revenue.
the grand final was actually so good though! more people should watch netball, it's way more exciting than rugby these days tbh 🏐
lol cope. if it was that good the numbers would be there every week, not just the final.

fix the game ffs, it's too stop start with all the umming and ahhing over penalties. that's why ppl switch off.
agree with ya, they need to sort the flow or no one's gonna bother
mate it's nothing to do with the game, it's the suits upstairs. they always blame the product when it's their fault.
fund it properly or shut up. tired of these sob stories from orgs that can't manage a dollar.
Over 120k watching is impressive for a small country. But maybe they need to market it better? I didn't even know the final was on.
yeah nah get stuffed, the finals been building all season. casuals always come out for the big games.
