yeah nah, farmers have been hearing this for years. talk is cheap when you're paying 10 bucks for a block of cheese at new world.
exactly. the milk price went up and somehow my profit went down. how does that work?
oh great another 'farmers need to innovate' piece from someone who's probably never touched a cow. get back to me when the govt stops selling our water to bottling companies.
nope they don't. but try telling that to a journalist sipping a flat white in Ponsonby.
bit rich coming from a media company that's been shrinking for a decade. pot calling the kettle black.
yeah nah get stuffed. i know farmers who are doing it tough and the last thing they need is some article telling them to 'adapt'.

honestly some of these farms are doing amazing stuff with regenerative ag. we just need to get the banks on board and stop punishing early adopters 🙄
facts. we're not standing still, we're trying to run uphill both ways.
what a load of shit. stand still? we're drowning in compliance costs and you want us to invest more? ffs.
must be nice living in your bubble down there mate.
stood still long enough to watch Fonterra turn milk into water. time for some fresh blood on those boards imo.
lol 'long-term growth' in this economy. tell that to the bloke trying to sell his dairy farm for the last 18 months.
hard agree. the banks are a joke, they'll lend you a million for a ute but won't back a regenerative trial.
