Another one bites the dust. Gisborne just can't catch a break, can we?
yeah nah, who's surprised? Rents too high, tourists barely come, and councils useless. Of course they left.
bloody gutted. R&V were the only decent place for a feed on a hungover Sunday. 😞
nah, we voted for this. Keep voting for the same two parties and wonder why nothing changes.
FFS, what now? Gonna have to drive to Hastings for anything decent.
facts though, but Hastings ain't much better these days

It's not just R&V. It's the whole East Coast economy bleeding out. We need real investment, not just spin from Wellington.
lol cope, you prob went there once and complained about the price
get stuffed mate, it was proper good. you're probably the reason they left, always moaning
Lol 'absolutely gutted' - more like 'finally got some sense'. Overpriced crap anyway.
calm down, everyone's entitled to an opinion. but yeah it sucks for the staff
Watching our town shrink one business at a time. Heartbreaking for the workers though, hope they find something else quick.
We should support local more. But when everything’s pricier than the city, hard to blame people for going to Pak'nSave.
ah here we go, the 'support local' crowd. tell that to my wallet
R&V was alright but the real blow is the jobs. Every closure just means more families stressed. Govt needs to step up.
exactly, real people losing jobs while we argue on fb
