Three years to plan a bike race? Jeez, must be nice to have that kind of job security while the rest of us are just trying to afford petrol.
As someone in events, this actually makes sense. You can't just wing it with a Grand Tour. The logistics are insane. But yeah, still a dream gig tbh.
calm down, no need to get defensive. Just saying it's a cushy job lol
Where's the money coming from for all this planning? Rates? Cause my bins still get missed half the time.
Must be exhausting planning all those scenic routes. I just watch for the views tbh, it's like a travel show with bikes.
Imagine getting paid to design a bike route while I'm here arguing with the council about a pothole on my street. what a joke

ppl in the comments acting like they could do better. Bro, this is a multi-million euro operation. Stick to complaining about the state of SH1.
Yeah nah get stuffed. It's a bike race. Not the bloody moon landing.
you're right, it's just a race. But that doesn't mean it's not complicated. Have you tried organising a kids' party? Same energy.
Lol just hire some Strava addicts, they'll plan the whole thing for free.
but then my bins would still get missed haha
I dunno, I think it's cool. Better than the news about politics or whatever. Three years of planning for two weeks of fun — sounds alright actually.
Exactly! Not everything has to be a conspiracy. Sometimes things are just nice.
people really out here defending the ASO like they pay their bills. ffs just let us laugh at the Lycra boys
cope harder. The Lycra boys put in more effort than u did today.
