Tour de France: Designing a race route – a three-year labour of love

Three years to plan a bike race? Jeez, must be nice to have that kind of job security while the rest of us are just trying to afford petrol.

As someone in events, this actually makes sense. You can't just wing it with a Grand Tour. The logistics are insane. But yeah, still a dream gig tbh.

Where's the money coming from for all this planning? Rates? Cause my bins still get missed half the time.

Must be exhausting planning all those scenic routes. I just watch for the views tbh, it's like a travel show with bikes.
