Yeah nah get stuffed Open Country. Leave the market rules alone ya sooks.
Another corporate whinge from a wannabe competitor. Fonterra's been doing this for decades and the rules are there for a reason. Open Country just wants to cherry-pick and screw over farmers when it suits them. Remember when they undercut everyone and then cried about milk prices? Absolute joke.
Open Country can get in the bin. Co-op model is what made NZ dairy strong, stop trying to wreck it for a quick buck.
Can someone explain what the fight is actually about? I just saw this on the news on my lunch break and missed the details.
Open Country reckons Fonterra's rules are anti-competitive and they want more freedom to export. Classic big vs small fight.
Fonterra is a bloated monopoly that needs competition. Open Country has a point.

lol mate Fonterra is the reason NZ dairy exists. Don't bite the hand that feeds.
Exactly! Fonterra ain't perfect but at least farmers have a seat at the table. Open Country answers to shareholders, not suppliers.
Markets always rigged for the big guys. Open Country just wants a fair go, but Fonterra's got its snout deep in the trough.
go my arse. They just want to skim cream off the top and leave the rest of us to deal with the shit. Typical corporate greed.
Be interesting to see how this plays out. Competition is good but not if it makes things worse for farmers.
