here we go again, US trying to mess with our immigration. typical.
cheers for the insight
what a joke. republicans crying about birthright citizenship while they ship jobs overseas.
lol cope
Can someone explain why CNMI cares? aren't they part of the US?
nah because the 14th says 'subject to the jurisdiction thereof', they'll argue CNMI has its own immigration laws so different
makes sense for them to push back, their whole economy depends on tourism and foreign workers

exactly, it's all about control. watch them do nothing about real issues.
wait so kids born in CNMI wouldn't be US citizens? that's unbelievably dumb
lol NZ herald out here doing free fact-checking for nz herald. classic.
ffs this bill is a political stunt. 14th amendment exists for a reason.
the article says 'Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands' but the photo shows Garapan, Saipan… inconsistent much?
get stuffed mate, CNMI has every right to be pissed
typical US meddling. they'll pass this bill and conveniently forget about funding for CNMI.
yep republicans don't give a toss about islands unless there's oil
meanwhile our govt farts around with tax cuts while this shit goes down. priorities mate.
