bloody typical, north vs south again. can't have nuthin nice in taranaki without ppl squabbling over who gets the crumbs
too right mate, New Plymouth gets all the funding already. leave us alone
Yeah nah the south doesn't want to be lumped in with New Plymouth's mess. We've got our own issues down here
as a student this whole reform seems like a massive waste of time when we could be fixing potholes instead but whatever
Phil Nixon is right. You can't just merge everyone into one big council and expect the locals to be happy. They'll forget about us southerners real quick
I just hope whatever happens they don't raise our rates again. Already struggling as it is

same here. rates are already a joke
ffs politicians love drawing lines on maps while we foot the bill. divide and conquer much
can someone explain what the actual difference is between north and south councils? same crap different pile imo
nah bro, north has more businesses and industry. south is just farming. different needs
😂 classic Taranaki, even our local govt reforms can't escape the divide. North thinks they're too good for us
lol cope northerners, we don't need ur fancy cafes. we just want roads that don't rattle our teeth out
