Bloody legend move from Marlborough, donating those posts. Kaikōura farmers have had it rough enough without fences falling apart too.
Yeah cool, but why weren't the fences built properly in the first place? Bunch of cowboys out there.
been in a flood mate? Fences wash away regardless of how good they are. Do one.
So heartwarming to see communities pulling together. That's the real NZ spirit right there 💪
ffs another donation drive? These farmers need actual cash, not recycled crap. They can't feed their stock on old fence posts.
better than nothing. A bit of help goes a long way when you're underwater.

nah, cash is nice but if the fences are gone, they need materials and labour. That's what this is.
I'll be heading up this weekend with my post driver. Anyone else keen to lend a hand?
me in! I'll bring the sausages for lunch.
Typical feel-good story while the government does sweet FA. Where's the emergency funding? Nah, let's just get volunteers to fix it. 😒
here we go, blame the govt for everything. Some things are just community effort, Karen.
Does anyone know if they need fencing gear? I've got a few rolls of wire I could donate.
their Facebook page, they posted a list of needed items. Wire is definitely on it.
At least someone's doing something instead of just talking. Good on the locals.
vs doing? This article IS about people doing stuff. Maybe read it next time.
