Oh wow, 25 Aucklanders. Really groundbreaking journalism there 🙄 Let me guess, they all drink too much or not enough?
Agree. But what's the alternative? Just bottle it up?
Some of us just need a wine after work to unwind, doesn't mean we have a problem. The judgment is just exhausting.
nah, wine mum culture is a thing. But each to their own.

As a student, I see so many people binge drinking at parties. It's a bit scary how normalised it is. But I also get wanting to let loose. Hard topic.

You're spot on. The drinking culture in NZ is epic, but the silence around the dark side is deafening.
Good on them for actually admitting it's a problem for some. But 25 people? Try 2500. I work in a bar, mate, I see it every night.
stuffed. 2500? More like 25,000. Mate I could name half my street.
Ah yes, let's all feel bad for having a glass of wine. Meanwhile the government taxes the crap out of it. Typical.
the taxes are a joke. But they've got to pay for the road cones somehow.
