FFS not another loophole to sell off our conservation land to some developer mates. Get stuffed.
real. Tourism alone on those tracks brings in way more than some housing subdivision ever would.
The Skyline Track is beautiful but you can't just block all development forever. We need jobs too. Balance people.
mate we've seen this movie before. 'minor amendment' turns into mining national parks. na thanks.
why is it always conservation land taking the hit? we've got plenty of other spots to build on 😒
exactly! they never learn do they. $$$ over everything.

As someone studying environmental policy, this amendment is a textbook example of regulatory capture. So much for protecting our natural heritage.
seen this before, watch them fast track it before anyone notices. classic move.
the issue is the amendment removes clear definitions of 'conservation purpose'. That's massive. Not just drama.
was talking to a mate in construction, he reckons there's heaps of land that's not conservation grade anyway. but who decides that, right?
true but also need affordable housing somewhere. just gotta pick the right spots.
I'm all for jobs but not at the expense of our last remaining wild places. Once it's gone it's gone.
once you pave paradise you just get a parking lot. Classic.
yeah nah this is a shit idea. leave the bush alone.
Honestly people are so dramatic. It's an amendment, not a bulldozer in the bush tomorrow.
okay Tom, said every developer ever before they trashed another valley.
