absolute joke of a system. I know someone who's been waiting 2 years for legal aid while lawyers get rich off the government. makes me bloody furious.

oh look another article stating the bleeding obvious. legal aid's been broken since the 90s. next.
get stuffed, it's not bleeding obvious to everyone. some people just don't know how bad it is till they need it themselves.
it's so sad seeing people miss out on justice. the system wasn't designed for poor people, simple as that.

yeah nah it's a mess. my cousin needed legal aid for a custody battle and got denied cos he had $500 in savings. properly broken.
