44% down on peak? Yeah nah, that's just the start. Watch it drop further when people realise Napier's a glorified carpark with nice buildings.
cope but you're not wrong about the pie prices. Absolute rort.
Bit sad really, loved watching the big ships come in. But I guess the tourists got sick of being charged $20 for a pie.
Wonder if the port workers are stressing yet. 50 ships is still a lot but 55 to 44 in a year? Oof.
But what about the environmental impact? These cruise ships dump waste and spew emissions. Maybe this is the planet forcing us to slow down. Think about it.
Exactly! The planet doesn't give a toss about cruise season. Good riddance.

stuffed with your green nonsense. You want everyone to starve?
Back in my day, Napier had a proper working port, not this tourism nonsense. Bring back the cargo ships and real jobs, not day trippers who leave litter.
I blame the council. Bunch of clowns couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery.
Facts. Council spends millions on flowers but can't sort the roads out.
Maybe it's the exchange rate? USD weak, cruise lines booking elsewhere. Give it a couple years, it'll bounce back. Positive vibes only 😊
mate, they'll find a way to charge even more. Watch
Recovery in 2028? Haha yeah right. More like they'll be begging for tenders by then. Mark my words.
