yeah nah this is just kicking the can down the road. we all know half these deportees will end up back on the streets throwing rocks at cars. waste of paper if you ask me.
exactly what i was thinking. they'll pat themselves on the back and move on.
i guess we'll find out. better than nothing i reckon
bloody oath, about time the gov did something. these people need a hand, not a boot up the arse. good on them 🙏
truth hurts innit
what about the families left behind in nz and aus? nah they don't care, just wanna look busy before the election i reckon

lol cope hard mate. we'll see how long this 'policy' lasts.
seen this before. all talk no action. they'll print the policy, have a ceremony, then forget about it when the next thing comes up. classic.
get over yourself. everyone deserves a second chance.
i actually think this could be good if they stick to it. like give them job training, counselling, not just dump them at the airport. but knowing tonga it'll be underfunded and mismanaged lol
wait so deportees = criminals? or just overstayers? big difference. article doesn't say
good question. article's clickbait af
probably both. but still good to have some structure instead of just throwing them back cold. tough situation
meanwhile i can't even get a visa sorted without paperwork up the wazoo. but these guys get a free pass back? ffs
yeah right, like you're so important lol
