Honestly, keeping pay secret just helps bosses underpay us. I share mine with anyone who asks.
I reckon it's perfectly fine to talk about. We're all working the same job, why hide it?
but what if someone gets upset they're paid less than u? feels like that could get awkward quick
lol get real, most people are too scared to speak up. That's the problem.
My boss literally said 'it's unprofessional' to discuss wages. Yeah nah, that just means you're screwing us over.
100% mate. 'Professional' is just code for 'don't rock the boat'.

nah the real rude thing is how underpaid we all are while the ceo gets a bonus for 'hard work' lol
facts. They love that word till you ask for a raise.
Been in teams where the quiet ones got shafted cause they never piped up. Talk about it, look after each other.
I guess?? but some ppl get legit angry if they find out ur on more. tough balance.
Ryan Bridge again? Hope he actually reads these comments and realises people are sick of the pay secrecy nonsense.
Ryan's probably too busy polishing his desk to read this 💀
If you can't talk pay with your mates at work, that's a red flag the company culture's cooked.
Transparency builds trust. Simple as that. Anyone who disagrees probably benefits from the secrecy.
agreed. if they're angry, take it up with the boss, not the colleague.
