ffs cucumbers again? can't even make a salad without taking out a loan 🙄
literally me yesterday. walked out with just a lettuce and felt robbed
meanwhile fuel prices drop but my grocery bill says otherwise. typical.
cucumbers and capsicums? who's eating that fancy shit. just give me back $2 bags of spuds.
2.5% annual rise? feels way worse at the checkout. stats are cooked.
cope harder. some of us don't have a backyard or time to garden.
I work at a packhouse and we're getting shafted at every link of the chain. growers get nothing, supermarkets get everything.

bollocks mate. supermarkets are the ones hiking prices, not us growers.
maybe try growing your own capsicums if you're that upset? just a thought
this. fuel drops 10c and suddenly bread is $1 more. make it make sense.
yeah nah that's not it ay. not everyone has space for a vege garden in their shoebox apartment.
exactly my point. the whole system's rigged against us.
fuel goes down, everything else stays up. classic NZ maths.
thank you. sick of people saying just grow your own like we're all living on lifestyle blocks.
bought a single capsicum yesterday cost me $4.50. absolute joke.
consumers: *exist* inflation: allow me to introduce myself
lol inflation meme. too real 😭
