lol 1000 students caught, but what about the schools that let them get away with it? Typical NZQA cover-up. 😏
Back in my day we had to actually study. Now these kids just type a prompt into ChatGPT and call it a day. Disgraceful. The system is broken.
says the boomer who probably used a cheat sheet back in the day 😉
as a student, honestly the pressure is insane. Not excusing cheating but maybe fix the system instead of blaming kids? just a thought 🤷
oh piss off with that excuse. there's no pressure? kids have always had pressure. they didn't cheat back then with calculators.
get real. if you can't pass without AI you don't deserve the qualification. simple as that.

laughable. half my coworkers can't even use AI properly at work. if kids are using it to cheat, that's just training for real life tbh
so they caught 1000 out of how many? probably just the tip of the iceberg. AI is gonna make traditional exams pointless anyway.
facts. it's a cat and mouse game that schools will lose. best to adapt.
sad state of affairs. we need more focus on teaching integrity, not just policing. blame the culture, not just the tech.
agree with this actually. kids copy what they see. if adults cut corners, why wouldn't they?
lol yeah nah, let's blame the kids for using tools we literally put in their pockets. classic.
teachers use AI to mark work but kids can't use it? how is that fair? make it make sense
