Meanwhile the govt is spending millions on cycleways in Auckland. Priorities eh 🙄
council drones more cops more taxes but can't fix a bridge. classic.
yeah nah drones delivering groceries sounds cool and all but who's paying for it? ratepayers? typical
Good on them. If it works it works. Better than waiting weeks for a bridge that'll take years to fix.
ffs why not just use a helicopter? drones are gonna drop someone's baked beans in a river
nah a chopper would cost more than the road repairs. Drone's just smarter.

bet you're fun at parties. Helicopters cost like $5k an hour mate
this is actually sick. technology being used for good instead of just spying on us for once lol
Wait so they can drone in groceries but not fix the damn bridge? sounds about right for this country
facts. always gotta bring politics into everything. Just let the drone zoot lol
It's literally a temporary fix you muppet. Bridge will get done eventually. Chill.
Love seeing rural communities get creative. But how long until some Karen complains about noise?
Actually, drones have a payload limit of about 2kg. So it's for lightweight essentials like medicine, not weekly shopping. Basic physics people.
oh piss off with the physics, nobody asked
