Good on her, absolute legend. Raising kids and calves while training for an Ironman? That's Southland grit right there.
250 calves AND four kids??? I can barely get my one kid to daycare without losing my mind. Respect.
bet she had time for a few wines afterwards? 🍷
lol true but also if my day was that chaotic I'd need a wine too
yeah nah get stuffed, she's allowed to have a glass of wine. she's earned it.
I'm 22 and can't even run 5km without crying, she's doing Ironman in her 40s... yeah nah I need to get my act together

same, I get tired walking to the mailbox. This woman is a machine.
Liz is an inspiration. I've seen her at local events, always got a smile. So proud of her.
totally agree! she's an inspiration to all us mums.
why does every article about a woman have to mention her weight? 'overweight' - so what. she did something amazing, focus on that.
exactly my point - the article could've just said she was unhealthy without the fat-shaming language. still an amazing story.
Inspiring stuff, but can we talk about the 250 calves? How do you even feed that many? milking shed must be chaos
we've got about 50 on our farm and it's full on. can't imagine 250. she's a machine.
bloody hell 250 calves and 4 kids no wonder she needed a break. good on her for finally putting herself first.
