oh ffs what now? My 80 year old nan already struggles to find the mailbox, now they want her to set up a digital account? get real
my point! Nan's not gonna set up an email account just to vote.
it's not that hard to set up an email. Stop babying them.
Digital equity concerns? Try basic common sense. Not everyone has a printer or a computer. Keep the bloody paper cards coming.
get stuffed I'm not clicking some link and logging in just to vote. Paper or nothing.
I actually prefer digital but I get why older folks would be upset. Maybe have both options available? That's not hard.

I said both options, not one or the other. Reading comprehension fail.
Yeah nah get stuffed. EasyVote card is the only reason I remember to vote. Now I'll just forget and not bother.
Green party pushing this digital nonsense so only gen z can vote I bet 🙄
A text would cost them literally nothing. But nah, let's just blame old people for not adapting.
It's 2026 and we're still mailing things? Good. Save the trees and stop wasting taxpayer money on postage. Check your emails like an adult.
lol watch the government website go down on election day. classic.
yeah cos the greens and their Facebook ads are totally unbiased 🙄
They always say 'digital equity' but then the website crashes on election day. Seen it before lol
As someone who works in postal, I've seen how much junk mail we shred. But EasyVote cards? That's actually important. Don't mess with it.
my brother literally moved house and forgot to update his address now he won't get the card. this is gonna be a mess
Fair enough move with the times. But maybe send a text reminder instead of an email? That would actually help.
