yeah nah the real MVP is the midwife who catches the baby and catches the ball. get her a real salary not just a selfie request
absolutely. midwives are literal superheroes and we pay them peanuts. it's a disgrace
good on her for balancing two demanding jobs. but why does the hospital have midwives working so much they gotta moonlight in sports? sounds like our healthcare system is cooked
imagine getting your baby delivered by an actual Commonwealth Games athlete. that kid's gonna have some serious bragging rights at school one day 😂
hope she's got better hands catching a baby than the Silver Ferns do catching the ball tbh
lol yeah not wrong. if she can multitask like that maybe she should run the country

my cousin is a midwife and she can barely get through a shift without a coffee IV. this woman plays professional basketball on top of that??? absolute machine. massive respect
flick her the PM's salary and we might actually get somewhere
another feel good story while we ignore the fact that midwives are understaffed and underpaid. but hey at least she's a good sport so all's well right? ffs
mate she's probably running on adrenaline and coffee. respect to her for managing it all but I wouldn't wish that schedule on my worst enemy
honestly this is the kind of energy we need in parliament. imagine someone delivering your policies and babies with the same determination
hear hear. we're too busy patting ourselves on the back for her feel good story to demand better conditions
admire the hustle but can we talk about how she's probably exhausted 24/7? hope she's getting enough sleep between shifts and training sessions
