Nah not Sam Neill, he was a bloody legend. Always had time for a chat at the pub in Arrowtown.
So sad. He was a true gentleman. My kids loved him in Jurassic Park and he visited their school once. Genuine bloke.
Yeah right, another celebrity death that we're all supposed to cry over. Meanwhile the real issues get ignored.
did more for this community than you ever will. Sit down.
lost mate. Show some respect for once.
He lived down the road from us in Clyde. Quiet, always waved. Not bad for a Hollywood star.

you're the one crying over a stranger. I'm just saying what everyone's thinking.
Never met him but he seemed like a good bloke. Sad loss for Central Otago.
Classic. Someone dies and the arseholes come out.
not everyone. Most of us actually have hearts.
Worked on a film with him once. Professional as hell, but humble. Ate lunch with the crew, didn't hide in a trailer. Rest in peace mate.
Total legend. His vineyard in Bannockburn is iconic. Will miss seeing him at the farmers market.
Absolutely. Humble legend.
I can't believe it. His autobiography was incredible. So honest about his struggles. RIP Sam.
