new creeks? sounds like the council's been asleep at the wheel again. what a mess.
too right. we were out with shovels at 6am. council turned up at 2pm with a coffee.
yeah nah this is what happens when you let logging companies do whatever they want up the valley. bet the road was a shambles before the rain anyway.
exactly. logging up there is a joke. roots hold the soil together and they take em all and wonder why the hills slide.
been out there helping with the clean-up today. locals are doing more than the council will ever bother with. sick of it.
new creeks? that's actually insane. would love to see how fast the landscape can change. but not at the cost of people's homes.

classic. they wonder why we have trust issues.
praying for everyone affected. the Puhi Puhi valley is stunning but this weather this year has been relentless ❤️
ffs another 'once in a century' event that's happening every two years now. maybe it's not once in a century anymore hey
facts. climate change isn't waiting for anyone's budget approval.
road's been washed out how many times now? years of neglect and u want us to just smile and rebuild. nah get stuffed lol
