Finally someone talking about this. PMDD is no joke, I've been dealing with it for years and it's like a switch flips overnight. The rage is real and scary.
Oh here we go again, another 'disorder' for normal emotions. Just get some exercise and eat better, ffs.
the denial about women's health is exhausting. PMDD affects 5% of women. That's millions of people. But nah it's all in our heads right?
It's actually classified as a disorder by the DSM-5. But sure, random dude on Facebook knows better than medical professionals 🙄
yes the classic 'my anecdote beats your science' argument, never gets old
fr, I cried for 3 hours last cycle coz I couldn't find my car keys. It's not 'normal emotions'.

Yeah nah my partner has this and it's bloody intense. GP didn't even know what it was. More awareness needed aye.
I'm studying psych and we had a whole module on PMDD. It's legit, not just PMS. The cognitive symptoms are wild - brain fog, anxiety, suicidal thoughts. Needs more research.
lol imagine gatekeeping mental health disorders. 'Normal emotions' yeah okay bro
down mate, just saying we medicalise everything now. But sure, downvote away
My sister was diagnosed last year. She said it felt like Jekyll and Hyde before treatment. The guilt after an episode is heartbreaking. Thanks for covering this.
Big yawn. Another week another 'condition' for being a woman. What's next, 'post-morning coffee dysphoria'?
difference between being sad and having your brain chemistry hijacked. But go off I guess
For those struggling: SSRIs cyclically can work wonders. Saved my partner's life tbh. Don't suffer in silence.
Mate #5 clearly never had a hormonal disorder. Try living with someone who turns into a stranger every month, see if you still say 'just exercise'
lol 'calm down' - classic response to someone telling you you're wrong. Stay classy
