My grandad could change a tyre with his eyes closed. These days they call the AA if they get a flat. Shame.
facts. same with changing oil or jump starting a car. basic stuff.
Yeah nah this is just another 'back in my day' circlejerk. I'm 22 and I can change a tyre fine, it's not rocket science. Maybe the boomers just need something to feel superior about.
can we talk about the fact that half of aucklands roads are potholes maybe fix that first before worrying about generations and tyres 🙄
okay but when was the last time YOU changed a tyre on the side of the motorway with traffic flying past? easy to talk with a cuppa in your hand.
i work in a tyre shop. 9/10 people under 30 just stand there on their phone while we do the work. Gen X and boomers at least pretend to give a shit.

lol i'm a uni student and i've changed my own tyre since high school. maybe stop stereotyping and teach kids practical stuff instead of just NCEA credits?
If you have to watch a youtube tutorial to change a tyre you should be banned from driving. no excuses.
everything is googleable now get over it old man. what matters is do you know where to find the info when you need it.
get stuffed mate. half of you kids can't even read a dipstick. youtube won't help you if your phone's flat.
exactly. learning how to learn is a skill too. just because it's on a screen doesn't make it less valid.
Ryan Bridge really scraping the barrel for content these days... slow news day? 🥱
