So the order wants to sell the land to pay off abuse victims in Oz? Meanwhile the kids here get shafted. Classic.
they've got billions in assets worldwide. Sell a few chalices instead of a school.
What a load of crap. If they sell the land where are the kids supposed to go? Put the victims first but not at the expense of another generation.
Seems like the board is doing what they can to protect the school. But the Catholic church needs to bloody well pay up without dragging schools into it.
Steve Hart sounds like a good bloke. Hope the community rallies behind him and the school. This is bigger than just one school.
