ffs another trade deal that'll just let India exploit our dairy market while we get nothing but cheap call centers. classic.
lol cope mate. we need these deals to survive. can't just hide behind tariffs forever
exactly my thought. our dairy sector is gonna take a hit while some suits pat themselves on the back
as someone in the industry, this could be huge for us if we play it right. but knowing our govt they'll screw it up somehow 😂
does anyone actually think this benefits the average kiwi? prices will probably go up for us while the big corporates profit. nah I'm good
oh goody, more 'strategic partnerships' that mean nothing except photo ops for politicians. wake me when they actually do something

be interesting to see if this helps with tourism from India. pre-covid they were a growing market for us. be nice to get that back
but what's in it for us? feels like we always give more than we get
spoken like someone who probably has shares in Fonterra. we need to protect local businesses not sell em out
yeah nah get stuffed. we don't need more deals that sell out our farmers. remember the Chinese milk powder scandal?
honestly I'll believe it when I see it. feels like every year there's a 'new era' of trade relations and nothing changes on the ground
facts. the only thing that changes is which politician gets to smile in the press conference
working in logistics here - if this means smoother export processes I'm all for it. the paperwork for India is a nightmare rn
