Bloody shame. Used to be you could leave your keys in the car and nobody would touch it. Now this. Hope they catch whoever did it.
nah Blake it's not the same town it was 20 years ago. Bastards coming from the city ruin everything.
Piece of paradise? More like piece of work. Bet it's meth related again. Same story different town.
a grip. One of them was a guy whose wife stabbed him. That's not meth, that's just rotten luck.
I work up that way sometimes. The vibe has definitely changed last few years. Makes you sick.
FFS my nan lives out Hokianga. Scared to answer the door now apparently. What's happening to this country.

as. My cousin lives there and said they've started locking the doors at night now. Crazy.
Wait two violent deaths in two weeks and cops still haven't said much? Typical.
Same. Police always 'ongoing inquiries' while families grieve. Embarrassing.
Exactly. Housing crisis pushing people into cheaper areas and bringing problems with them.
Yikes. Just moved out of Auckland to get away from this kinda stuff. Guess nowhere's safe anymore.
tbh this is so sad. Used to love camping up there as a kid. Paradise lost I guess 😔
People need to stop blaming meth and start blaming the lack of cops and mental health support. This was preventable.
you'd rather blame lack of cops than the actual scumbags doing the killing? Classic.
