what a load of shit... I've been in the trades for 20 years and this is the quietest it's ever been.
Yeah nah this is just the start. Govt keeps kicking the can down the road on infrastructure spending. My crew is already looking at jobs in Aus
you're not wrong. Over half my crew is in Perth now. The money's way better
My son's a chippy and he's been on half wages for months. Something's gotta give
here brother. I've got a wife and kids, can't just up and leave but what choice do they give us
ffs they keep raising interest rates and wonder why no one's building. common sense??

As someone studying civil engineering this is terrifying. Might have to move overseas after I graduate lol
Bloody politicians don't care about real kiwis. Just lining their pockets and leaving us to rot
Facts. My partner works in compliance and she says the red tape is killing small builders
We had 3 quotes for a deck last month and all were 20k+ more than 2 years ago. No wonder ppl ain't building
stuffed. We didn't choose to have materials triple in price
lol cope. If you can't afford to build maybe you shouldn't be building
