Nah but she's got a point though. We went to Sweden last year and every second teenager was working in hospitality or retail. Over here they're all on their phones expecting handouts.

waste of time, we can't even get proper funding for trades training and they want us to copy Swedish youth work programs. ffs
Honestly I'd rather have kids studying and playing than working at 15. Childhood is short enough.
I think there's merit in it. My daughter had a part time job at 16 and it taught her more about responsibility than any school subject did.
yeah real solution is getting young people off their phones and into the workforce. Nothing wrong with learning a trade early.
