Great idea, jobs for the local iwi. About time something useful came out of all those pine trees.
you must be new here. Jobs means 3 month contracts then ghosted.
Yeah but watch them give the contract to some overseas company anyway. Seen it happen too many times.
Ain't that the truth. Promises, promises.
nah they'll stuff it up somehow. But gotta try i guess.
Does this mean we get cheaper power or just more trees cut down? Honest question

Rūnanga hopes? So they're not even sure. Classic talkfest with no follow through 🙄
of us want to stay and work, not just complain on facebook. Good on them for trying
stuffed. At least they're doing something. What have you done lately?
Y'all are so negative. At least someone's trying to bring industry back to the regions.
hope they actually hire locals this time and not just bring in workers from aus
facts. sick of the negativity here. good news for once and ppl still complain
Those trees are invasive anyway. Might as well turn them into something useful.
anyone know where it's meant to go? could be near my place hope not
They said this years ago with the kiwifruit hub. Still waiting.
