ffs everyone jumping on the AI bandwagon. What happens when the power goes out? Back to pen and paper I guess.
this is just their PR spin. They wanna look like they're on the cutting edge while the everyday user still deals with dropouts.
and paper? Good luck running a modern business with that attitude mate.
Honestly I don't even know what an LLM is. Something for the IT nerds?
nah it's like a super smart text generator. Kinda scary tbh.
Another 'tech revolution' that'll probably just replace half our jobs. Cheers 2degrees for the hot take.

This sounds like a puff piece sponsored by a telco. Meanwhile small businesses can't afford broadband.
LLMs are great and all but NZ organisations still can't even get basic cybersecurity right. Put the cart before the horse much?
point. And what about data privacy? These models get trained on everything we throw at them. Scary stuff.
read the article on my lunch break. kinda worried but also curious how this'll play out.
We've been using an LLM at work for customer service. It's actually pretty handy, not gonna lie. But yeah, need good access.
lol cope with your corporate bootlicking. Some of us don't want AI answering phones with 'I can't help with that right now'
bloody hell another article about AI that doesn't mention the environmental cost. These models use insane amounts of water and energy.
Just watched the video. 2degrees partnership sounds promising if it means better internet for the regions too.
oh great another partnership that'll probably just lock us into more expensive contracts. I'll believe it when I see it.
Maybe if we had proper infrastructure instead of copper wires held together with tape we could actually innovate. #justsaying
Exactly. The hype is real but the reality is often a letdown. Hope this one's different.
