Great, just what we need for Matariki weekend. Gonna be stuck inside watching the rain again.
So typical. Finally get a long weekend and the weather decides to crap all over it.
120km/h winds in Wellington? Bloody joke. Hope they've got the power lines sorted this time.
lol right? 120km/h is just a breezy Tuesday in the capital.
But what about the farmers? They've been crying for rain for months, now it's too much. Make up your minds.
ffs, was planning to head up north this weekend. Anyone know if SH1 is still closed?

drove past this morning, puddles everywhere. good luck if you're in a low car lol
SH1 is a mess near Otaki. Heard they're talking hours of delays.
wouldn't risk it tbh. Mate just got stuck near Levin for 4 hours. Not worth it.
Yeah nah get stuffed. Another overhyped storm. Bet it's just a bit of drizzle.
mate you clearly don't live here. My fence is already gone.
cope harder. it's literally just weather.
whatever, southland could do with a bit of rain instead of this useless wind.
Meanwhile my roof is leaking and can't get a tradie for love nor money. Cheers.
same here, got a bucket catching water from the laundry ceiling. ffs
