Great, another rate hike. My mortgage is gonna be fun this month 🙄
same bro, this is a kick in the guts.
Surely it's for the best, keeps inflation down. But I feel for small businesses.
yeah nah get stuffed, this doesn't help anyone who actually works.
ffs economists can be optimistic because they don't have to actually run a shop. Retailers know what's up.
I guess we'll all find out soon enough. Hope it works.

Retailers nervous, economists optimistic... classic. Meanwhile the rest of us just cop it.
OCR up means my savings finally earn something. Not all bad news.
Used to be a time when a rate rise meant confidence. Now it just means stress for working families.
lol cope, our savings are tiny compared to what we lose.
And my rent will go up again. Predictable.
