FFS another RNZ doco about the same old thing. How about some actual journalism instead of rehashing history for the umpteenth time?
could be said about your comment mate. It's called history for a reason.
Waerenga-a-Hika was a massacre that gets glossed over. At least this doco might force some uncomfortable conversations.
lol yeah right more like UNcomfortable cos they get the facts wrong. Give me a break.
fake news lol theyre gonna leave out the bit about the land confiscations again watch
the conspiracy theorist. Name one thing they've fabricated in past docs.

Not bad for a trailer, but I swear NZ history docs are 90% slow-mo shots of people staring into the distance
These stories need to be told. My great-grandfather fought in the Waikato campaigns and I still don't know half of what happened. 🇳🇿
Yea nah I'm good. Another guilt trip from the taxpayer-funded media. Miss me with that.
least it's not the usual 'pakeha settlers ploughed fields in peace' crap we got in the 90s.
Actually looking forward to this. We never learned about Waerenga-a-Hika in school - just the same old Treaty watered down version.
out of here with that attitude. It's called learning, you should try it sometime.
My neighbour's family is from that area. Gonna share this with her, be keen to hear what she thinks ❤️
Preach. But also let's not act like we're the first generation to care. My nana knew all this before it was cool.
RNZ doing the hard yards again. Name another media outlet that bothers with this kinda content... I'll wait.
If this is half as good as the Taranaki Wars series it'll be worth watching. But please less dramatic music this time
that, the Taranaki one was amazing. But hey, a bit of drama keeps the grandkids from falling asleep 😅
