Great, just what I need before my night shift. Gonna be stuck at work extra late because of delays 😑
Surely they could have seen this coming. Weather warnings been out for days. Why are they only warning us now, right when we're about to head to the airport?
my point. They knew days ago. But they'll still act surprised when the planes can't land.
You know what's wild? They keep selling tickets knowing full well the weather is gonna be crap. But nah, gotta make that $$$.
lol they don't give a shit. It's all about that profit margin.
Honestly I'm just glad I'm not flying out tonight. That wind sounds bloody horrible. Stay safe everyone.

same. Not worth risking it. I'd rather be stuck at home than stuck on the tarmac for 4 hours.
My mate's flight from Chch got cancelled this morning, now he's stuck in Wellington till Friday lmao. What a joke.
they gave him a voucher for a hotel but it's not even near the city. So much for 'customer care'.
ffs I've got a connecting flight through Wellington tomorrow morning. This is gonna be a nightmare.
Look on the bright side, at least it's not snow. Last time they had snow at Wellington airport it was absolute chaos.
chaos was legendary tbh. But this wind is no joke either. Heard gusts up to 140km/h.
be worse. Could be driving through the Desert Rd in this weather.
bet they'll still charge you for changing the flight tho. classic.
Worse part is the long weekend. Everyone's trying to get away and here we are, grounded. Typical NZ weather.
mate don't jinx it 🙃
Watch them blame 'staff shortages' again instead of just admitting they oversold the flight.
