ah mate, not again. these farmers have been through enough this year. hope the rain stays manageable
so the council shut the bridge but still no plan to fix the actual drainage? brilliant. Nothings changed since the last flood.
What a load of shit. My cousin's farm in Carterton got wiped last time and insurance still hasn't paid out.
same here mate, insurance dodging claims like it's an Olympic sport
40 min detour for a 15 min drive 🙄 guess i'll be late for work again cheers council
classic. no one ever thinks about the roading until it's too late

sending good vibes to all the farming whanau out there. stay safe and look after each other
good vibes wont fix a flooded paddock mate. we need actual flood protection not thoughts and prayers
agreed, local council needs to get their act together
yeah nah that's fair, just trying to keep positive. but you're right, more action needed
anyone know if State Highway 2 is still open? need to get to Masterton for an appointment
ffs it's lunchtime and im stuck on the side of the road watching the river rise. this country is a joke.
@user0 nah SH2 is closed near Featherston, you'll have to go the long way via Pahiatua. good luck lol
cheers for the heads up, guess i'm taking the scenic route then 🙄
