Another $3.5 billion going offshore… while we can't fix potholes. Cheers Ardern round 2 😒
Let's be real – we need the money. NZ can't fund everything itself.
what I was thinking. Morrison's last big project was a clusterfuck.
Sumitomo Mitsui? Hope they've done their due diligence on Morrison's track record. Their last big project went tits up.
all projects are the same. Give them a chance ffs.
Honestly this sounds good for NZ infrastructure jobs. Let's see how it plays out.

call. But we can't just sit on our hands forever.
great more selloffs. next thing we know they'll be charging us to breathe our own air
🤡 enjoy your gravel roads while the CEOs buy another yacht
As long as they actually build something useful instead of another useless cycleway. Half the roads in my town are gravel.
have you seen the state of SH1? This money ain't fixing that.
If this brings real investment and local jobs then it's a win. Just hope the money doesn't disappear into consultant fees.
lol sure, keep believing that
Worked on a Morrison project before. They know their stuff but the margins are always tight. This could be good for the industry.
Japanese bank? So they get the profits and we get the debt? Yeah nah get stuffed.
