Depart early for what? So they can sit on the tarmac waiting for the slot? Air NZ really taking the piss lately.

Curious why they didn't just hold the flight 5 minutes? Is 5 minutes of fuel worth a customer's entire evening? Asking for a friend.
Honestly, expect nothing from Air NZ these days. Customer service has been downhill since they binned the peanuts.

Bloody typical. My mate had the same thing in CHC. They'd rather leave early than risk a delay on their perfect record.

drove back from QT once after a cancelled flight. Never again. Scenery's nice, but 8 hours in a car nah.
Wonder if this'll make news or just get buried. Hope he gets compensation or at least a voucher.
