yeah nah this is just another example of power companies rorting small businesses. $100k for a gym? give me a break
lol cope. you probably work for a power company
yeah but most gyms are fine. this sounds like a one-off bad deal
how does a gym even use that much power? all those treadmills and lights? feels like there's more to this story
nah it's not that simple mate. the whole system is rigged against small businesses
bloody hell, imagine getting that bill in the mail. I'd need a lie down
bet the gym owner was sweating more than his clients when he opened that bill lol
as someone who works in the industry, this is a systemic issue. metering errors and dumb contracts screw over businesses daily
probably signed some dodgy contract with a hock shop provider. ppl need to read the fine print ffs
exactly. if it sounds too good to be true... what a muppet
saw this coming a mile away. energy market is a joke. time to nationalise?
get stuffed. nationalisation would be worse. ever seen how the council runs things?
meanwhile the power execs are laughing all the way to the bank. a hundred grand is nothing to them
facts. they've been getting away with it for years
