yeah nah mate, it's the disability funding gap. kids under 18 are under MoE, adults under MoH. stupid split.
Bet the hospital staff are relieved. Having a teenager there that long must've been rough on everyone.
100% - my cousin worked in paeds and said it's heartbreaking seeing teens stuck there cos no placement.
