ffs council, how hard is it to leave a bit of space for people who actually need to get home? gotta love the planning brain trust in welly.
bloody useless council, bet they never once talked to residents before painting lines.
I'm a tradie and I see this shit every day. Bike lanes are important but not when they block disabled access. common sense, people.
tradie here too and I reckon we need both. but forcing someone to park blocks away with a disability? nah that's cooked.
yeah nah the whole street's a mess. cars everywhere, bikes everywhere, no one can move. classic welly infrastructure at its finest.
was gonna say the same thing. typical wellington planning: build first, think later.

as someone who commutes through there daily, it's chaos. but also, disabled bloke has a right to get into his own home. simple.
bike lanes are great but not when they stop people from living in their own house. this is a fail from the council. again.
Oh so now everyone's a bike lane expert. But sure, let's just park wherever. Disability parking exists for a reason, use it.
easy for you to say when you're not the one in a wheelchair mate. try some empathy.
disability parking? where? there's none on that street genius.
