Bloody hell, another article blaming the food industry for everything. Kids are fussy because parents don't know how to cook anymore. 🤷♂️
fair enough, I know not everyone can. It's rough out there.
read the article before commenting. It literally explains the industry tactics.
typical. Blame the parents, ignore the billion dollar industry. Classic.
Oh give it a rest. We know. Processed crap is bad. But it's cheap and we're tired. Maybe blame the govt for not regulating this nonsense properly.
As a student with a tight budget, it's almost impossible to avoid the cheap processed stuff. The marketing is so targeted it's scary.

Yeah nah, read the whole thing. It's not just marketing—it's the whole food environment. Supermarkets push junk to kids at eye level. Been saying this for years.
We just make our own snacks at home. It's time consuming but at least we know what's in it. Not everyone has that luxury though.
My kid only wants nuggets and chips. I try to offer veggies but he just refuses. It's exhausting. Maybe I'm the problem?
you're not the problem. Kids are hard wired to prefer sweet and fatty stuff. It's evolution.
FFS, you don't make your own snacks if you're working two jobs. This article is out of touch.
I wasn't having a go mate. Just saying what works for us.
It's all about balance. We grew up on junk too and survived. Just don't let them have it every meal.
Exactly! The cheap stuff is literally engineered to be addictive. It's not a willpower thing.
Balance? The whole system is stacked against parents. Education only goes so far when the cheap stuff is everywhere.
Wow, thanks for the hot tip. 'Balance'—why didn't I think of that? 🙄
harder. It's not that deep.
