This feels pretty close to what people are actually dealing with.. It usually comes down to whether it makes life easier or harder.
Nice to see people coming together against hate. Good on them.
Absolutely. Every little bit helps.
Wish we had more of this here in NZ. Solidarity matters.
Feels like a bandaid on a gunshot wound tbh. What about the underlying issues?
but rallies don't fix housing or jobs. Just saying.
Wish I could be there. Hard to make sense of all the anger lately.

but it's a start. Better than nothing.
Love to see this. Community is everything.
My cousin went! Said the atmosphere was really hopeful. Proud of them.
That's awesome! Good to hear.
Hope it actually changes something though. Actions speak louder.
As someone just trying to get through the day, this stands out.. the thousands part is what ppl will argue about. The real test is how it works for ordinary days, not press releases.
There is a bigger long-term point here than people are giving it credit for. rent eats first lol what a mess tbh.
This one will land with plenty of people for obvious reasons.. everyone's gonna dogpile the thousands bit RNZ group chat is gonna go off. People usually just want a sensible outcome here.
