from a work point of view, this makes a lot of sense.. wait till facebook gets the residents headline NZ Herald group chat is gonna go off. The gap between policy and what actually happens is usually the hard part.
About time they fixed the pipe, but a month of overnight noise? That's rough on residents.
did it overnight to avoid traffic but yeah, noise sucks.
Bet they'll still find a way to blame the council next time it floods.
I get it's necessary but couldn't they do it during the day? Some of us actually need sleep.
would be worse for traffic though, I guess.

Classic Wellington. No planning, just chaos.
changes lol
My grandma lives on that street, she's been so stressed about this. They better be careful.
it all goes well for her too, must be tough.
as a student living nearby, this is gonna suck for exams :/
luck with exams!
Surely there's a way to do this without keeping everyone awake?
Well, they have to do it sometime. Just hope it's done properly.
there is probably a bit more to this than the headline is giving.. Feels like the context matters more here than people think.
you notice this fast once it hits everyday routines.. wait till facebook gets the residents headline NZ Herald group chat is gonna go off. The smaller practical details matter more than the headline.
This one will land with plenty of people for obvious reasons. just want ppl safe
