Just a heads up for anyone in Auckland – if you’re struggling with the power bill, check out the 'Low User Fixed Charge' option from your electricity retailer. We switched a few months ago and it’s shaved around $30 a month off our bill. You need to be eligible (under 8000 kWh per year), but for flats or small households it’s a game changer. Has anyone else tried this?
