Christchurch actually looked alive for once. Crazy what happens when you spend a bit of money on events instead of potholes.
was a private event funded by the stadium trust, try reading the article. Ratepayers didn't pay a cent.
$40 for a pie and a coke at the stadium and they call that a win. Yeah nah, I'll watch from the couch next time.
lol you seriously think the workers got a fair share? mate the owners raked it in while staff ran off their feet
mean while half the hospo workers are still on minimum wage and getting abused by tourists. but yeah looks like a good time for the rich pricks 🖕
Loved the atmosphere, even if the All Blacks made it look harder than it needed to be. France were solid though.

still would've been cheaper than a stadium pie mate. and probably tastier haha
I couldn't even get near the stadium cos of the crowds. Heaving doesn't even cover it. Great for the city though, feels like we're finally getting our mojo back.
same burrito joint? the one near the cathedral was slammed but worth the wait
get real, that money goes to the big wigs not the actual staff making the food
the real mvps were the food trucks outside. smashed a killer burrito before the game and it hit different.
How much did the council spend on this again? while the potholes on my street swallow cars whole. priorities.
